Southern Tier Oat

This is a classic for stouts, it’s sweet, easy to drink, and did I mention sweet? I had this a long time ago when I first started drinking and wanted to see if it still held up. Aside from the boring look, like flat soda, the beer has a pleasant chocolate oat smell that is really inviting. The taste is spot on with the nose, a nice blend of dryness from the oats with a sweet chocolate throughout. Due to the sweetness of this I highly recommend splitting it with at least one person, 3 would be ideal, while having desert. This would go excellent with cheesecake, if you’re having a sweet tooth night!
