21st Amendment Hop Crisis

Appearance: A slightly hazy golden/amber body has a large and fast moving stream of fine carbonation bubbles rising to a thick and creamy off-white head that has great retention.
Aroma: The aroma is complex with a nice presence and balance. Pine, oak, tangerines, and hints of spice are in the nose with only a hint of alcohol.
Taste: Oh boy this drinks very nicely! A semi-sweet malt presence lays the foundation with hints of oranges on the intro that leads into a slightly spicy oak and mid-taste that becomes spicier and more bitter with a pine presence and hints of alcohol. The finish warms up my throat and leaves a light tingle of spice on my tongue.
Overall: This is a nicely done oaked IIPA. The balance is good here and this makes for a good sipper. I do warn to be careful when opening this though, I had 3 out of 4 tabs fall off when trying to open this, they literally just pulled right off.
