The Bruery’s Fruet

Appearance: The body is a beautiful dark brown with a rather clear appearance, the head is almost non-existent.
Aroma: The aroma is heavy on the oak, which provides a very wood heavy aroma not too far off of a woodworking shop. Light bourbon and vanilla notes appear as well as some grape aromas.
Taste: This is dominated by dark fruit flavors that bring black cherries and grapes to mind, very wine-like. The barrel notes are tame providing light oak, bourbon, and vanilla though they are mostly a backing. Warming alcohol is noted on the finish.
Overall: This is very wine-like with good complexity, this is also pricey. If you have the money to spare then this is worth looking into and if you have the money it will be worth buying one to age. This is a great cold night sipping beer, enjoy it with a friend or 3.
