Maine Beer Co.’s MO

Appearance: The head is a beautiful frothy off-white that towers over the body which is a murky amber that isn’t very appealing. If the body were nice and clear this would look perfect.
Aroma: The aroma is very citrus heavy with lots of hop presence. I’m smelling orange, pineapple and mango with pine backing it.
Taste: The intro is slightly sweet with bready malts as the hops come in providing orange, pine, and pineapple flavors, not much bitterness just enough to balance this nicely. The finish lingers a tad and dries out nicely.
Overall: This is a good pale ale, but it’s not a great value. If this were $3-$4 I would consider buying it again, but at $7-$8 I can think of many other beers I would buy over this.
